I have lost £100 recently because of incorrect information supplied by a large company who send flying birds into the sky.
What are your thoughts ?

I think your implicit question was "can you fly me from A to B on a certain day for a very small amount of money?", something they were under no obligation to do. They replied "no", so you ended up paying someone else more and incurred a few incidentals. I wouldn't take it personally. If you wanted to punish them, you could withold your business on future occasions, but that may entail further loss to you.

Smokin Joe, I'd be hacked off too, and would write a stern letter of complaint, threatening to take my business elsewhere in future.
You might even get some sort of compensation. £50 off your next flight as a gesture of goodwill is about the best you could hope for I reckon.

kitenski, he asked easy if they planned to fly NCL->GVA this winter. They said "no"*, he booked more expensive flights further away, costing him £100 more.
* The correct answer was "maybe".

Arguably Ej are the losers as they may have lost the smouldering one's business in future. However as they presumably operate a local monopoly on that route then he will be an honourable man indeed to resist all future temptation to fly with them. Accordingly the answer ultimately is likely to be like local rail cos and water cos that they do not give a toss about customer service because they don't need to. Therefore it only exists to keep the regulator sweet.
