Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Buenos Aires sees rare snowfall

With recent snow in parts of South Africa and Australia that rarely see it (and good conditions in the resorts), it seems as though the Southern Hemisphere generally is having a colder than average winter (so far).

Er ... no! Embarassed

I think it is interesting though that there's been unuual snowfalls in all three southern hemisphere continents (not counting Antarctica, which would be neither unusual nor interesting).

Think I miss the season by one week and the snow by a month.

Wasn't the nicest experience the last I was there because a combination of fog, radar broke down and Union withdrawal of labor (due the airport staff were abused so much by the angry stranded passengers) there were no international and domestic flights for a couple of days. Had I booked to go to the skiing resort I would only ending up sleeping in Aeroparque the domestic airport. In fact I had to travel a 15 hours from the province to Buenos Aires just to catch a 14-hour flight.

Still snow in Buenos Aires is a sight to be seen, especially if there are tango dancers to be had in Florida street.
