Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Yes - spotted this on my return from work this p.m. Southampton is an ideal airport for us and had been waiting for the Southampton - Chambery option to cost an early trip in December. I booked the four of us as soon as I could and I see that a few hours later the return part of the fare has already gone up £10.00 per person!! Goes someway in compensating for the cost of ski carriage which Flybe charge extra but BA include in their price. Overall I favour Southampton because it is so close to home for us and generally a lot less hassle than getting to Gatwick or Heathrow but I do get fed up with headline prices from Flybe of £25.00 each way turning into £125.00+ by the time you add on taxes, baggage costs, seat allocation and ski carriage costs. BA definitely, in my opinion, have a much clearer website with up front pricing and no nasty add ons as you go through the booking process.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The Office of Fair Trading has instructed all airlines to include all taxes and charges in their advertised price (the deadline was end of last month). A number have still to do this and Trading Standards state they will be working with the OFT to eradicate the problem. Full story here.
