Interesting discussion with a well known independent Ski boot shop today, along the lines of "no we won't be putting any boots in the sale or reducing prices as all the stock is for next season."
What about next seasons new stock..... "There won't be very much as we need to move what stock we already have Sad

So much for shops dumping unsold stock at reduced prices Sad

That's a fairly high risk strategy. If they don't discount it, surely people will just go elsewhere to buy the up to date stuff?

boredsurfin, not sure that most will, some may do and i don't have too many problems with a boot that hs changed graphically being sold at full price, it is the fit that counts, but when the product is now obsolete [ie replaced by differnt model] then i would consider it bad form as would most consumers

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

BTW it does not have to be massivly discounted, but a bit off and the consumer should be made aware that the product is replaced wirth a new model
