Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

This might be slightly out of date - But while I sit here in Surrey listening to the rain on the office roof, I keep dreaming of the year I spent living in Vancouver and all the great skiing/riding I did. So here goes, some of the best shots of the Winter (05/06) I spent with my wife living in Vancouver and exploring the Mountains of British Columbia.

Opening day (November 5th) on Whistler/Blackcomb

Riding the park on Blackcomb (Mid November)

Temperature Inversion above Whistler Village (Mid November)

Deep Powder at Mt Baker, just across the border in the USA (3rd december)

Billy the dog chasing my friend Darren in the Backcountry (18th December)

50cms of fresh @ Whistler (Jan 14th)

My Mum comes to visit, shes not used to all this powder! (30th Jan)

Driving home along the Sea - Sky Highway after a days skiing (30th Jan)

Hiking in the Whistler Backcountry (27th Feb)

Freshtracks at Kicking Horse (1st march)

Hiking for Powder at Kicking Horse (1st march)

An Epic day of Cat Riding/skiing at Valhalla Powdercats (3rd march)

More Cat shots (3rd march)

Cat turns (3rd March)

Riding the snow ghosts at Big White (12th march)

The view from Cypress Mountain, Vancouver - 15 mins from our house! (20th march)

Spring on Whistler and the crowds have gone! (25th march)

Backcountry riding from Blackcomb snowHead (5th April)

Easter at Kicking Horse (15th April)

4 day Backcountry Traverse of the Speahead range (late April)

Final day of the season, Whistler - Hawaiian Shirts and Beer Cool (May 18th)

It was a wonderful year, I won't even start on the summer...... wink

In the summer, I don't coach, I just do some organisational stuff for my buddy. But in the winter apart from my normal in the week Supergroups I also occasionally do a spot of race coaching for the juniors at the weekends (they are so much more mouldable than adults! Laughing .
