Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Atomic Nomad Whiteout's

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all,
I think i may have scooped the bargain of the year. Very Happy
Picked up a pair of next years Atomic Nomad Whiteout's 171cm for a cool 260 euro on the last day of the season in Val Thoren's.
I only managed to ski them for a few hours but was very impressed.
Very Light,so easy to turn in the wet snow !
Has anyone else tried these yet ?

CEM, Hehe, I thought it was a new method for adding structure.

Topsmoke, that's a cracking deal. I've got the Crimson's which I skied for a week in March & think are great but I previously had M:EX's which are a similar feel albeit a tad stiffer. What I like about the Crimson's is the softer longitudinal flex for all mountain use but still very torsionally stiff to give the usual great Atomic edge hold & good on-piste performance. And although a light ski for an Atomic they still blast through everything. I haven't tried the Whiteout's but I presume they are basically the same ski just narrower.

Don't know if you've any experience with the Neox bindings (highly underated IMO but come with crap instructions) but if not I've posted adjustment info on my website.

When tuning don't forget you'll been a 3 degree side edge guide wink

Hi,

Thanks for the info,
I didnt really have much input in the purchase it was decided for me by my instructor who's knows best or so he says.
I think i will leave the tuning to someone who knows what they are doing for now,They have been done for me ready for next year left and right marked which i must not switch never seen this before but different edge spec for inside which i will like.
Also was told never allow these ski's to be machine tuned only by hand now.

The bindings as well have been set for me and the fact i was skiing with a 7 week previous broken arm but will need adjusting so will read your info but will proberly leave it to someone else to adjust like you.

I was just told your old ski's are too long for you & too stiff,Your boots are too stiff too,You must change them to progress further.
These ski's are perfect for you so buy !
