Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Evening All

I've booked to go to Verbier for three days from this Friday. The conditions looked OK last week but I cannot find ANYTHING with up to date information.

Does anyone have any info on this?

If they are totally cr@p I can change resorts tonight.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Jack

Jack, much as you would expect for the time of year. we had an excellent late season up there sat and sun late starts, early finishes and even some perfect spring snow in the middle. forecast to be a little colder thu/fri on for a few days. not sure where you'll get much better...(except Chamonix of course) or a glacier. can't believe you can't find a sensible ski report?

Jack Hallam,
Depending on how up to date you want it last saturday the conditions remained very good up high. Although conditions can change fast at this time of the year I would be very suprised if there was not still good skiing to be had next weekend.

Skiing in the Mont Fort sectors and Attelas not too bad. 4V link closed, access to Tortin closed. Anything below Ruinettes (2200m) sketchy. That was as of yesterday. I'm heading back out Friday am and expect to have some good skiing in the middle of the day and some pleasant balcony sitting in the late afternoon. AsDavid Murdoch says probably as good in Verbier as anywhere else in the area.

Just got back and the weather was fantastic. No new snow but plenty left and still OK in the morning. Glorious sunshine every day. All things considered, the best skiing I've had for ages!

I leave for the airport in about an hour....off for closing weekend.
Expecting sun, warmth and a god deal of spring snow in a very mellow-vibe atmosphere.
Sad it's the last weekend, but can't complain, we've had an excellent season which atarted on December 10th in knee-thigh deep powder.
