Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

It depends on what your after, in some cases there is no difference between years but cosmetic changes so get a bargain off one of us.

However, the equipement companies don't stand still. If some models receive nothing more than a cosmetic face lift then that's usually because another model on the range has either changed completely or there is a new model and this is where the R & D money has gone.

So last years gear may differ greatly from the same model this year even though the name is still the same. For example the 04/05 Atomic Metron B5 didn't really look like it changed much for the 05/06 season but it was acually a LOT lighter in 05/06. This is a huge change but not one you'd notice unless told or you picked them up in a shop and this change would have a huge effect on your skiing.

When purchasing new gear the main thing as a Biritish skier is to be honest about what you want out of it, get advice from a technician and buy accordingly. New technology may help you realise your aspirations!
