Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Cervinia & Zermatt Mar 30/ Apr 1

Just back from a weekend in Cervinia and Zermatt.

We arrived about 10pm Friday night. It started snowing around 11, about 2 inches in town before we went to bed. Early start on Saturday and was on the piste just before 9. The initial clouds cleared and the morning was perfect. Fresh snow and not many people around. At 1pm the clouds rolled in, and visibility went south. It was still top quality and finished the last run at 5pm. Good long day

Today we decided to head as far over to Zermatt as we could. Got almost the first lift at 8:35 and made Furi for around 10. Skied Hohtalli to Riffelalp until about 2pm and then headed back. The weather in Zermatt was amazing, while Cervinia was covered in cloud all day. Snow conditions were very good in Zermatt but they didn't get the same snow Cervinia got on Saturday night.

Incidentally Zermatt has some amazing off piste much more than I realised. Got a great run underneath the new lift to Riffelberg (to the left of the STOP sign in on this map.) Would love to be back there after a snowfall to check out the Stockhorn area.

All in all a great weekend. If you are going to either place this week you are in luck
