My sister is playing eeny meeny miny mo in a ski rental shop in France this afternoon, and has been offered some Rossignol Attraxions, because she didn't like ones she originally booked. I've read a couple of good reviews, but wondered whether anyone on here knows anything about them?

As with all skies clara_jo, the only way for her to know whether she likes them is to ski them - regardless of what any review or anyone else says.
Take 'em, try 'em and change 'em if she doesn't like them. MrsPhillipStanton's record for taking, trying, returning and changing a pair of rental skis for 23 minutes.

PhillipStanton - sure. I think she was trying to narrow it down - she'd done quite a bit of research on the ones she wanted to try before she left the UK, but based on her height they gave her a longer ski than she likes to use, and all the shorter ones in that style were booked out. She just hadn't heard anything about any of the choices they gave her, and was being pointed in the direction of these ones.
No doubt I'll get her feedback later...

What was she originally looking for, B1s or similar?

No, she originally wanted Apache Recons 154 (I believe), but she pre-booked, gave her height, and when she got there, they only had 160s. All the 154s had gone. She doesn't like the longer skis. Still, it's late in the day now, she will have come up with something by now  And as Stanton says, if she doesn't like those ones either, it's back to the drawing board.

Undoubtedly the best skis I've ever been on - great stability, no clattering when you schuss, & good on ice! Very sorry now to have had to put them to bed for the season
