Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Cheap parking at Geneva Airport?

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has any cheaper plans for parking for Geneva airport than the expensive airport longstay carparks? Normally a thriving private enterprise of satellite parking establishes itself around airports but not at Geneva it would seem?

I can't take public transport because.... well I would have to set off the day before to get to my flight on time.

davidof, I've never cracked it either .. P51 is the cheapest of the long-terms.

Only other effective way I've found is to park at an office ... so if someone here could offer to park you up??

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

davidof, there's a free supermarket carpark, not too far from the airport, on the route straight down on the "France" signposting towards the motorway. On the right. It wouldn't be too far to walk if you were travelling light. About a mile? Don't know what hours it's open though - you probably wouldn't want to come back at 2 am and hope to get your car out. Might be worth driving in there and having a look if you have time. Can't remember the name of the supermarket, sorry.
