David Goldsmith has been asked not to post on the Ski Club's forum any longer, by SCGB director Gerry Aitken:
"Because of my position within the Club - director of the Ski Club with
responsibility for new media - I've been repeatedly asked by other
members to ask you to please stop posting on the Club's forms"

I find it ironic that Gerry Aitken has the position he now holds, I have an email from Laura Zachary/Chamberlain who was moderator there where she wrote "I do understand your grievences" about Gerry after I complained about his "bullying tactics" it was his elevation to the board after that event that caused me to not renew my subscription.
I do however appreciate that DG can be a real pain in the butt, however he has in the past raised some very valid points, it's a shame that the manner in which he does so just seems to wind people up and it's probably not helped when people get personally insulting possibly as a way of distracting others from the original point

Hertz rent-a-quote, Dave tells me he has just joined the SCGB.
He says he really loves the club and the rep system in particular. He is looking forward to his free drinks at the AGM.
In the meantime he is looking to see if he can organise an SCGB heli-skiing trip, preferably in an exotic location on the other side of the world.
