Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Fun in the sun at Resort X.... LaaX ;)

After a day of snow + poor visibility on Friday (but, let's face it, a day on the slopes nonetheless) it continued snowing on Saturday, which ended up being a write-off - lifts closed due to high winds, visibility awful. So we were thrilled to wake up yesterday to clear blue skies and arrived in resort to find mostly gorgeous conditions (only drawback was that some of the bumps throughout the resort had become a bit slushy).

I really liked this resort - it was my first visit, but I have plans to go back. Plenty of area for a week's skiing, and with good transport links from Zurich/Chur, doable for the weekend.

I've got over my mental block about skiing down narrow pathways (because there were several to practise on) and bumps (many to practise on!) and I even stopped flinching at the sound of snowboarders, and was actually able to appreciate just how good boarding looks when done well. And just to be able to ski in fresh snow... (you can tell I don't get out much, can't you Wink

Sunday lunch in the Tipi (native American-style wigwam with a roaring central fire, huge tables, and banquette seats covered in skins) in between Flims and Laax was a real treat.

How did you Riders Palace guys get on out there?
