Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

jcallaghan1,

Welcome to snowHead

Sorry I don't know this resort at all - an expert will be along soon.

Will you have transport or are you looking at travelling by bus?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

jcallaghan1, welcome to snowHead s
My sister-in-law went there last year for her first ever ski holiday - so her view does not have any other resort to compare it with - but she thought it was OK - but not enough to go back there this year - she is off on easiski's over-50s beginners week in LDA this year.

As regards the TO transferring your reservation, it doesn't look very likely because there is some skiing. The web-site today says 4/11 lifts and 3/20 pistes open - oh joy - and the TO will almost certainly count that as "open".

We went there once at end of season to check it out for taking a group there - it's really only for beginners. We lasted half a day and then drove off to claviere

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

jcallaghan1, Hi and welcome to SnowHeads. I've just tried the resort website to see if it gives the situation, but can't click into the English version - here's the link in case you don't already have it http://www.pratonevoso.com/inverno/ . If you are properly insured you may be able to cancel and claim back IF the resort is closed. We had one cancellation in Les Gets early in the season when the resort was briefly closed due to lack of snow, provided the client with a letter confirming that, they claimed and skied somewhere else a week later. Worth checking out the resort's official situation and your insurance policy. Good Luck snowHead
