Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Guys,

I need a random ski buddy.

I want to go to Val Thorens, departing 3rd March for a week. I am a 23yo male intermediate boarder. I want to start looking for and negotiating a cheap last minute deal, but its alot easier with 2 ppl.

I will have ppl I know out there already, altho I wont want to spend too much time with them. Hopefully get a chalet or apartment for about £250 - £450 inc. flights + transfer.

Any age, gender and ability welcome.

darrenkenny, could you go a week later? It's still French half term hols, very busy. From 10 March there should be better deals.

pam, the main reason I was going then was that my sister and her bf were out at that point. It woulda been nice to meet up with them.

However, now I have thought about pairing up with a random (for the first time) im kinda taken with it. So... depending how well tomorrow goes (im going to see what I can get for a single person) then yeah, I may well be more flexible in my timetable and decide to later in the month.
