Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Grenoble Transfers

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi Guys,

I've been trawling the Internet for ages to look for shared coach transfers from Grenoble to Val Thorens. I cant really find anything other than private transfers (which cost the earth). Can anyone point me in the direction of cheap (say £40 - £60) transfers from Grenoble to Val Thorens? It would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Darren

darrenkenny, welcome to snowHeads! snowHead

Have a look at AGBus: http://www.agbus.fr/ You might want to have a look at the train... Grenoble to Moutiers is about 3 hours (one change at Chambery) and then www.altibus.com from Moutiers to Val Thorens...

(I've not done either of these things)

Another thing to mention guys, I will be landing at 9 at night. the last coach leaves at 10 (for moutiers) which is fine.

But when I arrive at moutiers, presumably there wont be any buses there at stupid o'clock. Therefore, how much would a one-way taxi cost? its 37 km to Val Thorens (or 22 miles)

Cheers

Thanks jimmjimm. However does anyone know what the taxi price would be likely to be? I would imagine I will arrive at about midnight.
