hi there
a mate is heading for the val gardena area next weekend and i'm wondering does anyone know what the conditions are like over there? SCGB seem to say 50/90cm whereas a few other sites seem to be saying 20/50cm. either way doesn't look too fresh. anyone know hte storey?

rogg, CP came back yesterday - here's what he said. I returned a week ago, piste conditions are very good, complete coverage, good quality - off the pistes some of the south facing slopes have quite large bare patches.

Hoppo, no worries, havinbg reached the point where I have belief in my ability to do it I've now lost confidence in the snow being there, although it uis N facing so has more chance than most.

I asked about this at the ski school in Arabba last week. It was not recommended due to lack of snow cover.
Things may have changed by now as it would appear that it has been snowing since we left on Saturday.
