Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi,

Off to Cervinia/Zermatt this weekend and was hoping some of you may have some good recommendations for when the skiing for the day is done. Any good apres ski places directly fresh from the slopes? Good bars for a night-time? Good restaurants? Good mountain restaurants?

Any advice at all to possibly make my hols that little bit better would be welcomed.

Cheers folk! Very Happy

shenryo, don't eat too much for lunch, loads of pubs/ bars in cervinia offer free nibbles after skiing in an effort to get you to drink more Toofy Grin Toofy Grin [well last time i was there they did]

best restaurant we found was the Coppa Pan, located below the irish bar on the main street, left had side if walking from the church at the square

fantastic food and amazing wine list Toofy Grin

Hi

check out Lorezo and Roxanne who run Bar Planet - tell them you know Michael Jackson!!

small place, great free food with the drinls, hams, cheeses, bresaola, mortadella, etc etc and the red beer is good too!!

All the ski instructors go there and we seemed to be the only english guys

it only fits about 30 people and its up the main street on the right hand side - yellow and white stripy awnings.

For the record

Every time i go to cervinia we hire our ski's etc from Giampaola Iraci at Valle Ski Service

He is a really nice guy he owns the shop and seems really reasonable on prices (and he waxed my snowboard for free!!)

his e mail is skiservice@tiscali.it

however - he is located at Cielo Alto which is 1/2 a mile up the hill and if its icy you need snow chains.

have fun
