Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Grenoble Airport to Courchevel???

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi - Can anyone advise me on the best way to get from Grenoble Airport to Courchevel 1650? There are 2 of us arriving at Grenoble at 20.45 on Saturday 24th Feb...

I've looked at Agbus but can't tell what the total transfer time to the resort would be? Has anyone used Agbus before?

Any help much appreciated!!

Thanks

That late at night will probably be a taxi.

Alternatively, kip in the airport and catch an early-morning Altibus from Grenoble trainstation.

RachF80, The timetables are all on the aiport website http://www.grenoble-airport.com/rubrique.php3?id_rubrique=55 The last Agbus leaves at 22.00 although it only gets you to Moutiers or Aime.

You can then grab a cab to Courchevel from Moutiers...takes about 20 mins and between you won't cost that much.

you really should consider car hire. can probably get something for c£150 which may turn out cheaper than transfer anyway, and will be much quicker.

I agree with simo1234. Arriving that late at night you have little room for manoevre, it would be easy to miss the last bus if your flight is delayed. It's a very busy transfer day, still peak French holiday time. Hire a car and reduce the risk of an extremely uncomfortable night or an extremely expensive cab.
