Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

TK Maxx Question

We're still shopping to get our ski gear for a trip in early march and wondered if anyone had any tips on TK Maxx, their womens ski jackets and trousers seems to have almost run out (although seem to have lots of mens gear).
Do they tend to get more stock in at this point in the season?

xjenkins, It's 'shop till you drop', keep checking and visit different stores. The other thing to do is check with the big boys via (web and phone) S+R Decathlon etc. and ask what's going on the sale rack. It's been a crappy year by all accounts on the retail side so strap up your loins, walk through the door and say "I'll give you £xx for that".

Don't ask . . don't get

here's a thread with some links http://snowheads.com/ski-forum/viewtopic.php?t=22621

and don't forget that the sailing, running, climbing, motorcycling industry has great products we can use without having our credit cards removed via our rectum. Shocked

TK Maxx seem to be getting shut of their ski gear for this year now. I was in Preston today that had three whole aisles full of ski gear two weeks ago. They only had a half full rack of clearance stuff now. They did have some nice Surfanic ski pants at £22, and what's left of the jackets (some Columbia, Dare2Be and Trespass) for £30.

Charlatanefc, I've got Surfanic ski pants, bought in TK Maxx 3 years ago for £30-ish and they've been great.

Thanks for the advice, I picked up a couple of things yesterday. A pair of snowboarding trousers (pants?) for £12 made by Ocean Pacific - no idea if there any good! and Uni Qlo have merino wool jumpers for £15 which i figure would be good for a mid layer...
