Just back from my first ever ski trip to Canada... Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!....... never want to ski anywhere else..... Amazing snow, breathtaking scenery, no queues at all, friendly and helpful lifties , empty slopes, a good range of skiing for all abilities, brilliant food and accommodation, astoundingly well organised transport sytem to the slopes.... what more can I say? Can't fault it, and it hardly cost any more than going to Europe as got a good last minute deal. I'll be back! (already planning next years trip!!)

Helena, I thought exactly the same when I was there last week. Sunshine is fantastic - we only skied LL for a day because Sunshine was getting a foot of new snow a day. And we got to giggle at getting on "The Sunshine Bus".

I was there last April - we were there during the last weekfor Norquay, the last-but-one week for Lake Louise. We had fantastic blue skies for three days, and then it started snowing, and snowing, and snowing, and snowing. It was superb.

Banff is by miles the best place I have ever visited for exactly the same reasons you listed. Can't wait to get back there!
