Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

mayrhofen day two and three report

hi guys

day 2 go off to hintertix in serach of the whit stuff......no joy, just white out conditions..piste conditions were sheet ice with mogels not much fun...in pub by by 13.00---ps we have snow in mayrhofen looking good for tommorrow.

day 3 7.00am, YES YES YES:::STACKS OF SNOW IN RESORT , looking forward to a good days boarding. conditions are excellent, powder everywhere.Our first run down 5 we cut virgin tracks down run as we where the first down...sheer bliss , thank god for snowing. Same again down run 7 virgin tracks its great. powder knee high. Between 8.30 and 10.30 have been the best boarding condition at resort since the season started.

However, by noon the piste conditions returned to sheet ice and mogels everywhereand became poor for boarding, all runs from noon onwards became hard going if not dangerous. but that does not matter its still snowing and has been for most of the day our winter holiday has started ...Im flying
