When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Seem there is quite a following in the U.S.of D for the Nordica Hot Rod range.
I have just spent a few days on the 'Hot Rod Hellcat" 132-90-118, have any of you skied it, if so what did you think? I am a fan of the Afterburner, however find the weight a real problem and conditions need to be A1 on piste or off for her to feel fluid. Take it into the bumps or on mixed snow and she throws you about all over. I like the concept, but don't find them accessable.

The whole of the Hot Rod range, punishes people with poor technical ability (eg; those that throw their skis around and slide their tails) and rewards those that ski technically well (eg; those that can rproperly release their edges simultaneously).

My brother has just got a pair of Afterburners and seeing as we have the same boot size i shall pinch them off him and have a go, tho i have a few weeks to wait till snow time
