Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I believe that EJ now operate self check-in at Geneva. I imagine this will be chaos, no?

Theyve been doing it for the past two years at least. I was there the first day they opened it and it was fine. I guess transfers days are always chaos though.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

check in is fine, but the bag drop-off can be nasty, lots of fights and strops when I was there because there was no real organisation

Used it last year and it was fine....quicker than queueing for a check in desk

Much like BA fast bag drop its a bit of a misnomer as everyone still has to queue to check-in baggage. HArd to see what is actually saved other than agent's time in finding peoples' details.

It's rubbish - first queue for self check-in machines, then print out and attach your baggage tag yourself, then queue again to give your bag to bored-looking desk person, who has had nothing to do for the past ten minutes while everyone queued at the self check-in machines.

Pointless system. Twisted Evil

They've got it at East Midlands as well so my EOSB flights so far have been check-in free. A good idea in theory but never seems to work right in practice.
The first time I used it the machine ran out of boarding cards, so a visit to the desk needed. Another time it jammed up when printing the bag tags so another visit to the check-in desk needed.
I did find a credit card in one though so it's not all bad.

It may be pointless if you've got bags....but if you're luggage free it's fantastic!!
