Afternoon all,
I'm off with the kids over Easter, travelling with jet2, so will need to buy some wheelie bags that will contain the 18kg limit that jet2 has, but also that a 6 year old could wheel thru the airport, and that doesn't cost the earth?
Any suggestions of good bags?
Last year we put all their stuff in our bags, but it would then weigh approx 30kgs!!

kitenski, I think you would get good value in bags in the sales now, I know there is 30% off in Dublin as I was looking yesterday. A bag that can hold 18kg will probably weigh about 5kg (based on my bags size and the weight when full). My girlfriend got a wheely case with 4 rollers on the base, this means you can push as well as pull the bag and this might be easier for a child to bring although I don't know if any 6 yo could handle 18kg.

kitenski, if you're anywhere near a TKMaxx, I saw loads of wheelie bags in my local one last week, even some designer extra light weight ones, all at very good prices. Might be worth a visit.

For many reasons including me having to push/pull two bags to the car, and various other places that don't have trolleys inc when we arrive! The limit is one bag per person on most budget airlines nowadays.

I aleady have a Salamom bag,the type that holds a ski boot at either end with all your other stuff in a compartment in the middle.
Trouble is it weighs a ton when fully loaded,is there any type of trolley that could be fitted to make transporting a little easier?
