Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi guys. Just booked a trip to Courchevel with 6 mates for last week of Feb. Wonder if you could help with two queries I have:
1. We're staying at the Apartments Du Forum in central 1850. Anyone stayed here before or know anything about the quality? Can't find much info. on them!
2. What are the conditions likely to be at this time of year?
P.S. any extra info. you want to give on the resort to six 23 year old male beginner/intermediate skiiers is also much appreciated!
Thanks!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hi,
1. Rather basic, and small
2. It should be good, but then... it should be good now!
Good luck!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Geeman, welcome to snowHeads .
The Forum apartments are the Pierre et Vacances property just across the road from the main lifts. They're really well positioned and I believe they've been refurbished for this season, IIRC. You should have good snow (all being well) as well, so I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Geeman, welcome to snowHeads!
Those apartments are in a great location, but a bit on the small side IIRC. Main tip is to choose a good ski school: Ski Supreme is a bit more expensive than some of the other ski schools, but worth the extra in my opinion.

stayed there in March last year. OK size as long as you book a larger apartment than your group size (the same as any apartments in France!)
