Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

VFD bus service from Grenoble to LDA

I am planning to travel by bus from Grenoble to LDA. From (senior) memory it is possible to pay by cash on the bus outbound - but best to book in advance on return. Can anyone confirm?

You pay in the bus station going in either direction. Probably don't need to worry about buying your return ticket until you arrive in resort unless you are travelling at a very busy time

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The notices at the VFD offices in LDA say book at least 3 days in advance for LDA to Grenoble - which we did and no problems (arrived in LDA on a Sunday evening after last bus so arrived by taxi). Bus then got held up for about 10 minutes with several people trying to buy on the bus (8.10am service) at the Grenoble end of LDA. Think they succeeded but driver was none too happy. Was a Friday morning just before C'mas and bus fairly full of local people too as I think its also a work bus but depends on time of day I guess. I have a timetable somewhere if that would help at all.
