Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We got caught up in the fog flight shennanigans just before Christmas on our way back from a (snowy) trip to the South Tirol. Since becoming besprogged it became a lot easier to look at packages with childcare specialists to make the whole experience easier. And, you know something, I think I'm a fan. We went with Esprit, the nippers (who are wee and not yet skiing) had a great time. We found it relaxing, got loads of skiing in and were only mildly effed-off with being delayed for a day. The communication was shoddy during the delay process but we got put up and shipped out and the whole party agreed that it wasn't as bad as might have been expected. I'd have gone with Esprit again despite all this.
A couple of days after the event we had a letter saying - yes, we're sorry but you can't claim cash from us because of our terms and conditions. Again, no real issue with that - we can claim extra expenses (car parking, kennels, articulated deliveries of fizz for Xmas redirected etc) incurred off the insurance thanks to the letter provided by Esprit...
So it was with genuine surprise and delight that I opened a cheque this morning for £50 per member of the party and a letter saying that actually Esprit and Monarch really were quite sorry.
Here you are, Esprit, let the world see you are Quite Decent.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

We had a similar experience with Neilson last year (Sailing rather than skiing). Carnage at the time (greek strikes), immediate response of "not my problem" after 24 hour delay and aborted replacement flight (we got as far as Italy before turning round Shocked). Then about a month later an aplolgetic letter, £100 a head voucher and £75 a head cash cheque Very Happy.

Always nice to be pleasently suprised so heres to Neilson: Quite Decent too

aj xx

I recently had an excellent response from My Travel over a name change.
