Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Is the place worth going to for a week for intermediate skiiers ?
I think a friend may have made a bad mistake and booked here for a week.

i went there when i was a kid (must have been about 7) stayed in the Hotel Edelweiss!
I had a great time, skied my socks off and spent all week with this ski instrictor who wore viking horns and made us chant 'ole ole ole' all day! I also came 3rd in a mini slalom

was in lermoos 2 yrs ago, small, pretty, strung out village with ok sking but surrounded by a few v small resorts which makes the area fairly ok for intermediate. snow at the time was superb so we had a really good week and did'nt go outside lermoos itself. if you are looking for a party town then you are on a loser as there are only 2-3 proper bars and 1 (sort of) disco. but to contradict myself again we had a super time there and we are rather fond of the apre scene, (group of 12 paddies).

does it sound like what I am reading about .. i.e. a minute resort with 9 lifts including 2 drag lifts?
is there enough runs to keep you occupied for a week?
