Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Freestyle lessons?

I noticed that Xscape in MK have started doing freestyle lessons on Thursday evenings. I am kinda tempted because I'm fairly confident skiing red runs and thought that this might a way to add a bit of interest to skiing at Xscape as I'd imagine skiing the same short slope for a couple of hours would be a bit boring. Last year I was trying to 360 spins on the flat to keep myself entertained while I was looking after the beginners but only got it a few times, and our instructor took us over some small jumps and even on the half pipe Shocked

So, has anyone got any experience of the sessions at MK, or the other slopes? Reckon it would be worthwhile? Do I need to already be able to do some basic freestyle beforehand?

zebedee, hi, this is probably not too helpful as I have only had freestyle lessons in norwich, but here they just ask for parallel standard & assumed no previous experience. The instructor took things really carefully with the newbies, making sure they concentrate on speeds & approaches first. I really enjoyed it, they really stretch you & they are great fun - I am sure MK will be similar.
