book to go to Sierra Nevada for 3 days in Feb cost £32 return incl Taxes which i am well pleased with bought some blades to take for the 1st time instead of my skis can fit them in my bag so not being charged ski carrage, looked at taking my ski,s just incase i don't like them £34 to take my ski's(at least dick turpin wore a mask) wife says just hire some when out there, but i can't do that as i like mine, why do they charge so much just for ski's!!!!  sorry about the rant.

jase2472, because that's what O'lady's front bottom feels is a viable air-freight charge for shipping a pair of skis across Europe . . . and you'll find that UPS etc fees. will be in the same ball-park.
What's wrong with the O'lady's front bottom model is that he's reduced the baggage allowance to force you to pay the excess. Astute business practice or thieving buttwipe . . . it's your shilling . . . but I'd rather walk than fly with the ****.
Edit: for the first time I like the filter's version . . . far more apropos.

Fair one i know mate it just grips me that they charge the same amount for ski's in the hold as they do for a seat
