Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

...If you go on to Metcheck and select europe/france,then Lyon (keep clicking the seven day forecast it gives you 14 days) it shows 4 days of fairly heavy rain from the north west from 6 Jan onwards. Unless I'm thick (probabilty high) this will hit the Alps.Am I dreaming? Is Lyon really somewhere else other than a mere 100k west of the alps? Will this rain all of a sudden turn round and head of somewhere else, just to p*** us all off even more? Can some of you experts chew on it and confirm that a miracle is to happen?
I think I'm suffering with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Puzzled

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

It looks increasingly like much of the Alps will get snow up top and rain down low for some of the first 2 weeks of Jan. 1500m is my guess for the tipping-point at this stage.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

If it is coming from the north west it should obviously mean snow fairly low down, as you say, I hope so! keeping everything crossed at the moment.

That's OK, I remember twice at Whistler it p##sed it down in the village all week but was snowing like mad up the mountain so hopefully, temperatures permitting, the same will happen there.

It can p*** it down all it likes below 1500 as long as the white stuff falls above (pref' starting at 6pm and finishing at 10pm every night allowing the bashers to prepare paradise) I'll be grinning for 6 days! Very Happy
