Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just got back from Zell last weekend.
verry good conditions on the glacier.
15th -17th Dec. Ladies world cup snowboard event
was to be held in St, Moritz , but due to lack of snow transfered to Zell.
16 of the 20 lifts are open on the Glacier.

Roger C, Tell us more about the Fopolo trip - I went there on a school trip for New Year 1988/89 (I think) and was restricted to one piste for the whole week due to lack of snow.

Byron Gates, a week on the conditions have gone backwards I understand, but you give me hope Very Happy . What was the crowd factor like at Kaprun? At ZAS? Of the 4 lifts opened at ZAS, what runs were therefore skiable? (we are seeking out a weekend of easy peasy blues)

Have a great birthday. I'm going to Cham this weekend and will be taking the new Hannibel Lector book. Thomas Harris books are always big tomes so should keep you going for a couple of days at least.

simo1234, well suffice to say that there werent many runs open in Foppolo last January when we visited. The result was a mammoth pub crawl Shock (in beer consumption rather than pubs visited as there are only about 4).

Next morning Peter Leuzzi and Steve didnt make it to the slopes and first time we spotted them was at lunchtime when they had managed to walk the 300yds to the cafe at the foot of the slopes!

Peter Leuzzi, have a good time in Morzine. Matt and I wont be able to join you as we are flying to Basel at about the same time ( but no idea yet where we'll ski Confused )
