Hi,
Does anyone have any suggestions for childcare in La Plagne?
My daughter will be 3 when we go, but I don't really want her to start learning to ski. We don't have accommodation sorted yet, but Belle Plagne was mentioned.
The other problem, is that we only need the child care for the Thursday and Friday.
Any, non rude, suggestions gratefully received.

I know theres a huge creche in Plagne centre, not so sure on Belle Plagne though- sorry!

m00958, there is I believe a firm of private nannies who cover the area, google search should find them. sorry can't recall name.
Out of possible interest, started our daughter last Christmas on skis, hour a day, and she loved it

m00958, Crystal operate a creche in Hotel Turquoise (or at least they did two seasons ago). The hotel is on the piste (Belle Plagne) that runs through the village centre. You might have to pay for the whole week, but it's worth an enquiry I'd say.

Some resorts will give you a list of baby sitters which if you are only using them for a couple of days may not be too expensive.

m00958, Friends of ours simply got every brochure they could and contacted each UK operator offering a creche service and called them. They ended up with their child in a silver Ski creche who even collected and delivered their child at no extra cost!

Evolution 2 do a kids club and creche - the creche for 6 months - 3 years.

No experience so can't vouch for them. Just saw mention on the website for the chalet we're staying at.
