Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Its far too warm still even with the promised precipitation is of no use as it going to fall as rain. The slight cooling this week is replaced by mid teen temps in the following two weeks. What is happening?

Yes I get a bit depressed by it myself as well, it is just these bloody southern winds keeps on coming. We need a stable high pressure above the alps to really cool it down then some southern winds to bring in a lot of snow..
I live in cambridge myself, but also here sometimes I go to bed when it is pretty cold (7 degrees which makes me sleep really well), then I just wake up because of it is getting warmer during the night 15 degrees, this is December it is just redicoulous. And then you hear the weather man on tv: yes it is nice and mild
!! What, this is completely crap it is not nice, it is completely shite weather! December should be cold, not 15 Degrees. I hope the gulfstream stops and we get really cold weather here, we can skate on the Norh sea with 2 meter of snow covering Europe, and al those wimps who can't handle it can move to the equator.
I just had to write down my frustration somewhere, thanks!!
