Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hey, there are 4 of us that are planning hitting the slopes over new year.


We are looking for a package deal with transfers etc leaving from Any Scottish airport going to any half decent resort i europe so long as there is snow! Very Happy

Where s the best place to get a cheap deal i have looked on all the usual thomson, first choice etc but im struggling to find one leaving from Scotland.

Can anyone help.

Nowhere is cheap for the New Year, may get something late but that week is the most expensive week of the year. Maybe try something DIY but can still be hard to get accommodation.

Try organising an independent deal

Last new year I booked flights from Glasgow to Salzburg with Inghams, then emailed the local tourist office in Zell am See / Kaprun for availability, received some very good offers and ended up in a 4* hotel half board in Kaprun for way less than anything in the brochures

Inghams do flight only from edinburgh and glasgow, worth checking out

Its not that bad. Just need to get a cheap flight from Inverness to London jump on the bus get hammered and hey ho!
