Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We have a 3 year old and a 6 year old who will be skiing with us for a week in April at Obergurgl.
The 3 year old is now wearing the 6 year olds hand-me-downs which are excellent quality but were expensive.
Is there an obvious place to get quality kids stuff at reasonable prices? Not bothered about brands so much, but want them to look and feel good and know that they won't fall apart.
Also, snow boots - what do you suggest? We went wellies one year (wrong wrong wrong) and have been fleeced yearly since buying boots.

def. e-bay for snow boots - pick some up for less than £10 - hardly used. Hope the link works
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

, I know what you mean my 10 yr old daughter has this evening just tried on last years gear and the expensive HH trousers which I expected to fit this winter have been ditched after only 2 weeks wear last year. Luckily I got her her a few new things in the sales in the summer. She needs new boots though and I think places like Decathlon, Lidl, Aldi and Tchibo knock those out quite reasonably.
