I've used my real name and now I'm bored with it.

Here's all you need to know.
I'd avoid the name 'Sven'.
One of my friends at college changed his name to Kit Mollecula. Lovely bloke.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

wayne j, You can't change your username, but maybe if you ask Ubrain, he may be able to do it.

How about Samantha? Not many people have such a concise surname Mr J, but if you're bored.......
If you want to change your username here PM admin or myself and let us know who you would like to be known as (and will the "artist formerly known as wayne j" epithet be required?).
If we're in a good mood we'll consider it

I can certainly recommend Mr Alan Craggs, as the man for the job. He did mine in a blink of an eye.

Alan Craggs, not Samantha!
Anything but the beautiful Samantha, who has to nip off now, as her trusted aged gardener is coming round to identify the mysterious trailing plant that's growing in her privet. Obviously she's keen not to miss him if there's a chance she might have an Old Man's Beard in her bush...

OK it's done, thank you Alan.
I'm putting this down to a testosterone rush having joined the gym again for the first time in years.
Will hit the big 50 next January in La Thuile and I'm determined to regain my fitness so that I don't ski like an old man. Appologies to those of you that have passed the milestone and ski a damned site better than me.

Alan can change your age as well. As for changing gender, I would consult a qualified surgeon.

I can change my age myself. My wife insists that I behave like a teenager during the winter months.
As for changing gender, enough tried during my rugby playing days. The worst offenders were both the opposing second rows during the first line out of a game against Port Tablbot police. Totally premeditated. Definitely a case of get your retaliation in first.

Jonpim's the sex change specialist. First he wafts his magic gasses and when you're under the magic wand mysteriously gets every snowHead whose sex he has ever guessed wrong. Oh and welcome back, jonpim. You've been missed.
Wear The Fox Hat, wonderful stuff. I can feel a ISIHAC thread coming on.

Cymru am Byth, does your beautiful new pen-name have a meaning? I don't want to trust this to a free Welsh-English internet translator, because I've had mixed experiences.
|
|
|
|
|
You know it makes sense.
|
The translation is 'Wales for ever'. Carries a bit more meaning for us Celts than the words suggest though. A bit like 'Scotland the brave' to the Jocks I suppose, or 'A pint of guinness' to the paddies. (No offence meant there my wife is one, paddy that is).
These on-line translators mean that you can't select a Welsh name that inflicts abuse on the rest of you without you spotting it now. Such a simple pleasure destroyed.

On the other hand, some people understand a bit of Welsh so you should always be careful!

hayley t, I've already made that mistake with a girl in a bar in London. Fortunately I was too drunk to be embarrassed.
Nothing beats a bit of Welsh.

Sorry Alan - I may have been mistaken. Thought I saw a post from him yesterday but it might have been on one of the resurrected threads. They confuse the hell out me - deja vu.
Is he on holiday ? Not like him to be absent for so long. Or has he inhaled too much of one of his medicinal gases ????

I believe he is on a self-imposed "retreat" from snowHeads having been given work to do by his employers - we'll have to put his priorities straight on his return

Hi Yoda,
I would like to change my public name (agos1). By mistake, I wrote a name that I prefer not to have it public.
Is it possible? Can you help me to do it?
Thanks a lot

@agos1, as said above, you can PM an admin with your desired change. If you don't know how to do that click on the "mega-snowhead" below my name in this post.
For the benefit of those who come across this resurrected thread, there is a specific name-change request thread in Suggestions etc. here:-
