Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

There's a rain crust from 1150m to 1750m. On N and E aspects above say 1300m there's about 40 - 50 cms on top of the crust. Skiing will be interesting tomorrow.

Agreed! But in view of LeeLau's recent publicised problems with his photos, surprised to see no watermarking/ copyright marking on them! wink

Agreed - I'm buying a copy of Photoshop Elements to put in watermarks but have been too busy skiing to learn the software as yet. Also want the watermarks to be somewhat inobstrusive - will do all the photos in one shot

Peak Chair opened on Whistler on November 25th. I pretty much blew up keeping a good start out of the gates and getting close-to-first tracks down Surprise. After another top to bottom lap down to the Red Chair we went hunting for more pow on Lesser Flute. This time we hooked up with a buddy Dan, who we know from Escape Route in Whistler.

Lesser Flute was insane. The snow was outrageously light. Despite being cooked, we managed to knock off a couple of gorgeous openbowl untouched powder runs down its face.

My powder glands have overflowed - my legs have gone 12 rounds with Mr Pow and Mr Pow is winning and has more to come.

TR: Rohr-Marriot and Oboe Dec 7 , Dec 9 - 2006

Sharon and I went to look at Rohr up the Duffy Lake Road on Dec 7. It was much too warm for decent touring but we did manage to check out some interesting slopes off the beaten path.

A predicted storm on the weekend failed to materialize so we decided to take off to the Whistler slackcountry.
