Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

National Ski and Snowboard Week starts tomorrow

The UK ski industry's first National Ski and Snowboard Week will start with a roller ski down the Royal Mall in London on Sunday. The London Region Nordic Ski Club and the Roller Ski Co. will start roller skiing at 2pm from the steps in front of Carlton House Terrace in the Royal Mall, London.

The idea behind the National Ski and Snowboard Week is to ‘get Brits on slopes’ because only 2% of the British public currently go on a ski or snowboard holiday each year.
...Another event linked to the week will be an attempt at the indoor world blind speed ski record by 35-year-old blind speed skier Kevin Alderton from Dartford, Kent, in Laandgraf Holland on 15th November. Kevin set the world speed ski record in Les Arcs in April 2006, skiing at 101mph down the sheer Flying Kilometre speed ski circuit.

To find out more about the National Ski and Snowboard Week visit www.nssw.co.uk , for a listing of events, competitions and offers from UK ski and snowboard industry organisations.
