Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Check out this rather alarming news article, how many drinks at lunchtime would invalidate your insurance? How many skiers are not insured (I'm sure all Snowheads are) http://www.mysnowsports.com/News/article/sid=626.html

I don't know, but if you ski while p!ssed you are a danger to yourself and others and deserve everything that comes your way. We don't tolerate drink-driving, so why should we tolerate drink-skiing? If resorts were to introduce an alcohol limit for skiers/boarders, roughly equivalent to our drink-drive limit, I would have no problem with that.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Why not simplify it to "If you can't follow the responsibility code, your insurance is invalid"?

Although Austria is home to Bars on the slopes & Apres Ski. It has been illegal to ski while intoxicated for many years. However, the police only take action if theres a reported accident.

Intoxication testing on the slopes in Austria would be business suicide for the Austrians so is very unlikely .Also nearly all ski areas in Austria takes place on Private land. The lift companys pay the local land owners for the use of the land.

I'm sure the same is true in France, but I can't remember hearing about it. However I see large numbers of Brits tucking into one or two large beers at lunchtime, and large numbers of French with a bottle of wine .... I was concerned that when the ******** runs into me s/he won't be covered by their insurance!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked
