Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

OK, not dirt cheap but not astronomical either:

The story is that we've got 2 adjacent apartments booked in Le Grand Bornand for the above week and due to a badly timed pregnancy and another somewhat lamer excuse we've got 2 rooms going spare - anyone want them?

Guide costs:

Flights £70 ( 06.20 out of LGW returning 09.55 on 4th March) other alternatives book your own.
also got some coming out approx same time going back at 20.45

Transfer £40 Private transfer assuming compatible flight times

Accomm £180 4* slopeside apartments sleeping 20 but only planning to fill to 16

Food £50 includes conti breakfast and 2 course dinner of the fillet au poivre, duck with lime
lamb shanks in red wine sauce, curry night, type of thing plus a starter or sweet
and cheese, a fair amount of beer/wine and whatever is kicking around in the fridge
in the way of cake, soup, sandwich stuff etc. (got one veggie already so can do that
too)

Lift £85 Local pass


Sub total £425 assuming the above flight

Add £25 for area pass incl Le Clusaz, £80 for mid range ski and boot hire, £80 for group
lessons

Current group of 12 loosely connected friends including some I haven't yet met and 3 low maintenace kids

Ability range; some first times, couple of second weekers, some 5/6 weekers and a couple of 10 week plus.
