Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

La Plagne piste map?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Can anyone find a piste map on the La Plagne website? I might be missing something obvious, but I've spent the last five minutes trying to find the current map. Plenty of fancy VR videos to be found on the site, but no obvious link to the piste map! Puzzled

Google finds a few at other websites, but none that are detailed enough to spot piste names. It seems madness that the official La Plagne website doesn't have (or hides) its piste map!

rob@rar, Rob do you mean this coming seasons map? Last seasons wasn't published until late November and I guess with the alterations to pistes and new lifts at La Roche and Le Bois I guess this years will be delayed a while longer, Romain has very good LP maps on his site here but, not next season's

RG and boredsurfin, thanks. I couldn't find any piste map on the La Plagne site, so even if the new one isn't ready yet I would have found it helpful to see last year's. As it was I spent a frustrating 5 minutes searching for something which should have been obvious. Strange customer service!

rob@rar, I've just had a good look around the LP site and can't find anything either, I also tried www.ski-laplagne.com which was the lift co's website last year and now that re-directs to the LP site. As you say very odd.

rob@rar,
this one is from the les arcs website: the new 2007 paradiski map - but as commented elsewhere about on line maps pretty damn useless for seeing detail!

A clearer map than last year I think, the village secteurs are certainly much clearer.

Noticed Crozats is black now, that was definately the hardest thing we did in April although that may have been down to the thaw: huge moguls and rocks/grass everywhere.

Swirly, for me Crozats is not black, since 2003 and the works on the slope. Before 2003, it was more difficult !

RG, That's as maybe; as I said the condition it was in when we did it was what made it hard, bigger moguls than most of the blacks we did and numerous large bare patches. With full cover it probably wouldn't have been the hardest red.
