Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Wear The Fox Hat, thx, but it's for my sister who lives in Leeds and works a normal 9-5 job, has a husband, cat and horse to look after. Galavanting around the country for a boot fitter is a little more difficult for her.

I'm a lot more flexible and care-free so travelling to the ends (or middle) of the country for a boot fitting isn't a problem for me, and my boots fit fine anyway Smile

tp023, I've found Ellis Brigham at the Tamworth Snowdome to be excellent and to take time and trouble over fitting your boots. They don't have a huge range, but will get stuff in from other branches if you need them.

Ellis Brigham at XScape Castleford. Julian (their head ski/skiboot man) has been good to me. They should have a decent level of stock in at the mo so you should get the boots which are right for you rather than what they've got left.

Everyone appears to say how good Lockwoods at Leamington Spa is so don't discount it.

I have to admit Julian at Ellis Brigham (XScape Castleford) was really helpful this weekend.

Three weeks ago I had a pair of Tecnica Diablo Flames fitted there, but I finally gave up trying to bed them in as they were agony (I have wide feet and they were crushing the outsides Crying or Very sad ). I was wondering what they would say when I returned the boots, but Julian immediatley suggested I try on some other brands that were known to be of wider fitting. Eventually I went for the Atomic M90's which were much more comfortable and if fact £45 cheaper, which they happily refunded.

Overall top marks.

Hairy Boy, Shamone, I got my sister a £250 gift voucher to spend at EB. I'll make sure she books an appointment with Julian. Thanks.
