Poster: A snowHead
|
It started snowing yesterday afternoon, and when I left the apartment (~3500 feet lower than the base of Snowbird) this morning there was 2" of snow on the ground. So the resorts should have received a large dump, hopefully they will open Snowbird early.

davidb,
Is this the start of the winter snow, do you you have temps to keep it and form a base or will you just take it as it comes , ski it and wait for the real winter to arrive..?
I take the answer is that this is a bonus as the resorts would be opening by now..

JT, The resorts aren't open yet and the snow appears to be temporary (well at 5000 feet). However, the snow seems to be sticking at the higher resorts and Snowbird is expected to be open on 18th of November.
