Channel 4 in November I believe - not sure of the exact dates but around 8ish on weekend mornings IIRC.
The Ski Club are starting a web TV service next month too apparently, there's a thread on here somewhere about it.
I believe there's a satelite sports station that's showing old Warren Miller films at the moment too but I have cable so can't see it and have forgotten what it's called!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Renry, I think Channel 4 starts on 12 November with the GS at Sölden, don't know about Eurosport. SCGB has a weekly list of skiing related programs under News and Events and often also on the home page.

I rely on TiVo to seek out Skiing programmes for me, it does a good job of it although every now and then it will find an odd episode of Pingu to throw into the mix as well. It's currently got a thing about Rhoobard & Custard Too, which isn't neccesarily a bad thing.

Renry, Channel 4 is covering the ski world cup racers and as various highlight programs but normally Eurosport show the races live.
Lucky for me I have a multisat system so ORF in austria will be my prefered choice ( All the build ups and post race interviews ) with audio from eurosport.
Don't forget it's the 1st race this weekend in Solden.
P.s Looks like Eurosport isn't covering this event.

ORF is going or has recently gone digital. I had to purchase a new card to see ORF - the card doesn't cost much but I'm unsure if it's available to residents outside of Austria.

Anyone know if there is a live internet site that provides coverage of the World Cup races by streaming video (as a paid-for service)?

RE: Warren Miller films...
They are being shown on ESPN Classic starting 4th November at 19.00 - they are repeating them at various times ...

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

I see they are intending to cover the British Championships at Meribel in April - is this the first time that Ch 4 have covered this?

You know it makes sense.

I think I've seen a 5 minute round up shown before, might have been Ski Sunday or Trans World Sports or something else even.
