Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just wondering if any of you fellow snow heads have ever stayed at the above and if so how would you rate it food, location, standard of accommodation etc....

Yes, I stayed there quite a few years ago when it was run by Crystal. I'm not sure who runs it now. It has a very good location, just a minute or two from the Bellecote piste. Almost ski in/out, but not quite. It's about a 10-15 minute walk back up the road from the centre of 1850, probably half that to walk down the piste. It has nice views across the valley towards 1650.

We stayed in a room which they said was the ground floor, but was actually one floor down from the entrance. It was a compact double room with ensuite shower, adequate rather than nice. There's a very large 'L' shaped dining room and living room, with big pictures windows looking across the valley.

The food will depend entirely on the quality of the staff running the chalet that season. Ours were particularly poor, but that doesn't mean that you would have the same experience.
