Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

'07 Line Anthem Park / Freeride Twin Tip Skis

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hey folks,

Just thought I would get some insight on these skis. I have done a fair amount of research on these skis and pretty much have my heart set on them.

Has anyone heard anything negative on these skis?

I am 5'8" and 145lbs.

Also, the sizes that are availible are 161cm and 171cm. Judging by my weight and height which would be the preferable length for park/freestyle riding? I am currently riding 166cm's and find them kinda short. I was gonna go with the 171cm's

Positive and Negitive feedback will be appriciated!

Cheers,
Mooj

Hi Mooj, never tried line's twin tips but I've heard good things. As for size, I personally feel that a bit shorter to what you're used to is probably best for freestyle. I'm 6'3" and I ride 186 for powder but go down to 179 for freestyle. Ultimately its a question of preference though, and I would advice trying out different sizes before commiting. Most dryslopes and fridges have shops that will let you try their new lines...

PS If you do buy Line skis, don't forget to ask them for their "I'M A SKIER" tee shirt, very sought after and very cool
Hope this helps...

Ha, didn't realise you were from over the pond, forget about dryslopes and fridges then. Laughing

Personally I'd go with the longer length. 161 would be way too short. I hear the anthems are pretty decent especially in the park as they have equal dimensions in the tip and tail so should be mounted in centre. I am a bit heavier and taller than you and found a 163cm atomic triplet so short that I sold them and got scott p3 (178cm) and now am much happier. They really dont feel long especially when mounted towards centre.

Right on guys!

Thanks for the good info. I plan on taking a trip to the local Line dealer to see what they have!

Thanks again,
Mooj
