Staying here for the christmas week with a few friends, but finding ithard to find any more information other than what is on iglu

Yes, walking distance but your on a fairly steep (road) hill so be prepared for that

Approx 150Mtrs. Its not to bad.There is a bus ski bus service duting the day. Its not that bad. I quite like it (walking uphill brisk pace) , as it gets the lungs going !

150-200Mtrs and your at the Main Street . I wouldnt worry your in a nice location.
IMHO staying "right in the heart of the stuff" is not such a good idea if you like some quiet when you sleep plus it also way more expensive.

Its seems you are ok ( and stanton will know as well as anyone here ) as you can be a long way out in St A.
Up a hill and out of the way sounds perfect to me... and you'll know what I mean by that once you have been there.
