I ski'd the 3VRace is 155 and 165 today at Tamworth.
Quite possibly the most dissapointing slalom ski ever.
The 155 just had no energy out of the turn, the 165 was marginally better.
Ugh.

veeeight, were they the LAB versions, I have used this and next seasons (only on plastic) but they did seem quite a tasty ski.
PS my slalom skills are very low, it's the poles

DM, yes. Although the rep looked at me in disbelief when I said that. I then demonstrated that the shovels were much stiffer than the tails. Which is a weird arrangement for a slalom ski IMO. I think it makes people look good if they don't work the ski throughout the turn.
I think I was overpowering the 155 (in a snowdome!!!!) and the 165 was slightly better, but still not much enerygy in the tail.
Dunk - not the LAB version, this is the top end "consumer" race ski - Equipe 3V Race.

The 3V Race has an Isocell Complex core
The GC Race has an Isocell Wood core.

veeeight, Current slalom technique doesn't use much pressure change along the length of the ski. We don't "work the skis" anymore.
The 155 is for girlies, what did you expect ? And as Dunk points out, it isn't a race ski.
